Thank you. I honestly can’t say it enough. Thank you to each and every one of you who have read and continue to read my blog. Without you, this would just be a self-indulgent site, but you keep me going, keep me focused and continually challenging me to improve and share my personal style, fashion and vulnerabilities with you.
This past weekend I was invited to speak at UCSD to share my experiences as a blogger, how I got started and everything in between! I was joined by fellow blogger/vloggers Bethany Struble, Peter Adrian, Heidi Kuan and Jair Woo, some of the nicest people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting, and spent a few hours sharing our different experiences with all the lovely members of F.A.M.E. at UCSD. When Rebecca from F.A.M.E. told us that everyone attending is interested in fashion and looking to gain more knowledge I was humbled that they thought of me. The whole reason I started my blog was to share my style and encourage everyone reading that they could be confident and comfortable in their personal style and to show them how to put an outfit together. I would get asked all the time, “Where did you get that?” or “Can you help me, I’ve had this skirt forever, it’s been hanging in my closet and I have no idea what to wear with it” and I knew a lot of people had similar questions and I wanted to answer as many as I could. So I started my blog as a creative outlet to share my passion with all of you. I never thought it would be what it is today, and I couldn’t be more grateful it is! Every e-mail, message and post inspires me to work harder for you and hopefully I’m encouraging you to pursue your dreams as well.
Thank you again to F.A.M.E. and everyone who came out to support us, it was such a fun night!!
