A few tips to keep in mind when getting ready. Do NOT wear flip flops, sneakers, old ratty clothes (if you have these please throw them out) or jeans. Exception with jeans, your office is casual. In that case you’ll still want to dress them up with a pair of heels, wedges or flats.
So what’s appropriate for your office? Whether you work a 9-5, entrepreneur who makes your own hours or even an intern it’s important to dress the part so you’re taken seriously. One of my favorite and go to pieces is a white button down top. The possibilities for styling are endless. Pair with a long maxi skirt and ankle strap heels for an elegant look.
For a more relaxed environment a maxi dress with an oversized sweater and a pair of ankle boots will give you the perfect 70’s vibe that’s really trending for Fall.
For my corporate girls who like something other than a suit, a pair of palazzo pants, a turtleneck and an oversized jacket add a chic sophistication and lets people know you’re in charge!
