Before I share this outfit look with you I have to mention just how EPIC this weekend was, and I don’t use that word lightly. My fiance Rick, his morning show and crew on Z90 planned an EPIC weekend for two winners and I went along for the ride to help style the winners for an amazing weekend. You have to check out the teaser trailer here. Everything from Disneyland, Nick Jonas, court side at the Lakers, private plane to Vegas, Glam Squad, $1000 shopping spree, DJ Mustard, Chris Brown, BLT Steakhouse, Pitbull, $1000 chip to bet on roulette, X Ambassadors, Planet Hollywood, the list goes on and on…did I mention this was all in 48 hours!! You have to check it out (plus they are already planning the next Epic 48 adventure). I’m so incredibly proud of Rick for seeing his vision come to life and watching the winners just take everything in and being completely overwhelmed at each stop along the way. *proud fiance moment*
Now, onto my outfit…it isn’t Spring without a jean jacket and while you may not want to wear it all day I love the option of tying it around your waist or tossing it over your shoulders for a completely different outfit. It still looks puts together, stylish and yet serves a purpose once that spring breeze kicks in.
When putting together an outfit I like to start with basic pieces and build around that. I knew I wanted to wear my jean jacket for a day of shopping and catching up with friends over lunch so I pulled out a pair of white jeans and a striped top I picked up at Target. If you know me you know I love a good pair of neutral shoes because they go with pretty everything. I paired my Michael Kors wedges with a tan bag, gold accessories, curled my hair, and headed out the door with my jacket around my waist. It’s a simple casual everyday outfit that takes little effort to achieve but still looks ultra chic. You can’t beat that!
