With my beautiful bridesmaids
Stacey, Priscilla, Andrea, Nikki, and Amber
The countdown continues, exactly 207 days until Rick and I say “I do” in front of our closest friends and family!! It’s getting real and quick! LOL
But more than anything, I cannot wait to be married to my best friend.
We’ve got the big things scheduled; date (March 18, 2017) and location (Palm Springs), now it’s time to move on to the rest of the fun stuff!! So over the weekend my five bridesmaids and I went to David’s Bridal to try on Bridesmaids dresses! I asked the girls about a week in advance to go online to their website and choose their favorite styles so we had an idea of what everyone liked. Vera Wang was at the top of the list 🙂 We selected our top 20 favorite styles, haha yes 20, there were just so many to choose from, and when I called to make an appointment I let the DB stylist know all the dresses they wanted to try on, and everything was pulled and ready for us when we got there! That makes life so much easier than having six girls running around the store pulling dresses!
Our personal stylists for the day, Kristi, was so helpful, knowledgeable and patient! haha Having six different women, personalities and styles she kept her cool and brought out every dress, size and color we asked for in addition to what we already had waiting for us!
Thank you for being so patient, Kristi!! LOL
The reason I chose DB to look for dresses was because I knew they had a wide variety of styles, colors and sizes. All my girls are different and I wanted each of them to feel comfortable and beautiful in their dresses so having such a variety was important to me, plus the prices are extremely reasonable, they even have dresses under $100.
As you’ve probably noticed by now my favorite color is pink. I live for soft hues, pinks, blushes and neutral tones so it felt only right to go that route for our big day! 🙂
I don’t want to give away all the details just yet, but also wanted to share with you some photos and possible contenders for the bridesmaids, so here’s a fun little sneak peek of what you can expect to see on our wedding day!
If you’re getting married or maybe going to be a bridesmaid, I highly suggest you check out DB’s bridesmaids collection! I was talking to the managers, Luis and Kori and they told me DB now has over 300 stores in the US, Canada, UK and Puerto Rico, I was shocked, I seriously had no idea they had so many stores, but I can totally see why and I bet there’s one right near you!
Thank you so much to David’s Bridal for taking such good care of me and my bridesmaids! I’m happy to say we found the perfect bridesmaid’s dresses for each one of my girls and I can’t wait to show you what we ended up choosing!! Stay tuned for more!! 🙂
