The second annual KAABOO festival was this past weekend and I’m so excited to share my luxury experience with you! I got together with title sponsor Mercedes Benz of El Cajon to not only host our Pre-Kaaboo party a few weeks ago, but to also experience the festival first hand!
Jon from Mercedes Benz of El Cajon picked me up from my office downtown in this gorgeous Mercedes S550 one of the nicest cars I’ve ever been in! There were so many fun gadgets inside, I felt like a kid in a candy store. You better believe I touched every button and switch in there! LOL My favorite features were the rear window sunblinds that disappeared into the door and also the heated back seats. I am always cold so that was a nice feature! I felt so spoiled having my own driver for the weekend, especially in such a gorgeous car!
Once I arrived at KAABOO I was taken to the Mercedes Benz VIP Cabana which was the perfect spot to watch the Mercedes Benz Sunset Cliffs stage. I saw amazing performances from Aerosmith, Lenny Kravitz, Third Eye Blind and many more!! I also popped over to the other stages to check out Gavin Degraw (One Tree Hill, anyone?!), One Republic, Ludacris…such a wide array of artists it is sure to make everyone happy!
I also ran into some of my favorite people while at KAABOO.
FWSD Founder Allison Andrews her husband Elliott and little Bently, Upolstery Artist Jenna Pilant and her husband Darrell, and Stylist Maria Von Losch and her sister.
Day 2, my love Rick was able to get away from work and head out for the fun! We were really excited to see Aerosmith and we were not at all dissapointed. I can’t believe Steven Tyler is almost 70 and can still nail those songs and run around stage! Amazing!!!
With my Mercedes Benz of El Cajon family, Jillian and Valerie! This night would not have been made possible without these beauties!!
If you don’t know this about me, I have 9 nieces and nephews, not including all of my friends babies that I also consider family. I LOVE babies and this sweet little love, Bentley, makes me smile to no end! She’s the happiest baby and was jamming to the music all weekend as well!!
Day 3, I went back solo but met up with a few friends. I hadn’t had the opportunity to check out all of the amazing stuff going on around KAABOO because I wanted to make sure I was able to see all of the artists. So on Sunday my objective was to hit up the Indulgences tent and did I! Indulgences was an understatement, you could get everything from a haircut, massage, braids, beard trimmed, manicures, facials, I even had a hydra therapy lip treatment (my lips are still super smooth!), there were hair accessories, jewelry and clothing. Seriously everything you could want and a majority of the services were free! The ultimate day of pampering. I also walked through the different halls to check out all of the incredible food, artists, and comedians.
So what exactly is KAABOO and should you go next year? The answer is simple, it’s the festival of all festivals and yes you should go! They already have pre-sale tickets for next year on sale! I’m sure you’ve heard of Coachella, if not, where have you been?! However, this is no Coachella, this is so much more than your typical music festival. For one, the location is ideal, San Diego, right next to the ocean at the beautiful Del Mar Fairgrounds, and not only were there headline artists, but gourmet food, wine and cocktails, comedians, and artists. This is the next level of festivals, the ultimate mixperience!
What do you think? Would you want to attend next year? I plan on it!!
Thank you so much to my Mercedes Benz of El Cajon family for a such an incredible experience, one that I’ll never forget!!!
