I love this time of year, the holidays are in full swing and I’ve managed to make my way out of the city to the best pumpkin patch in San Diego, Bates Nut Farm. Not only do I go for the pumpkins but also for the animals and of course the food!
Did I mention I totally got lost in the candy store. When there are barrels of your favorite candy (Taffy) on display it’s only right to grab handfuls to satisfy your cravings, right? I was literally a kid in a candy store. It was like someone set me loose and I fell into a sugar coma! I did manage to make it outside and see all the cute little animals although I had to keep my distance because I’m highly allergic to pretty much everything. Damn allergies.
Since I was country living for a couple hours I thought it was a great time to break out my boots and jeans! I also added a brown blazer because believe it or not it was a little chilly. Brown is a great neutral color but it’s very easy to look drab if you don’t add a good contrasting color so I decided to add this floral green top for that perfect pop this outfit needed!
I hope you’re having a wonderful day so far and don’t forget to check back tomorrow for my full reveal of this year’s Halloween costume! Want a sneak peek…I posted a photo on Instagram I think it’s SPOT on! 😉
