Hello friends! I apologize for the lack of posts the past couple weeks. My laptop has been acting up lately and not wanting to cooperate with me! LOL But I’m back and with a new outfit for you!
So, aside from the whole laptop situation I’ve been quite the busy bee with personal styling sessions, events with my hair product VIBRANCE, filming commercials, TV news segments, hosting advanced movie screenings for all my blogger babes, and of course lots of family time!! With the long holiday weekend and my birthday coming up next week, plus all the trips and events planned this summer, I’ve been on a constant high. It’s always nice to have something to look forward to! Speaking of that, I always look forward to Friday nights because those are date nights for Rick and I. With everything I have going on during the week, on top of his busy schedule (if you don’t know, he works in radio and it’s pretty demanding) so we make it a priority to have date nights on Friday. We were getting ready to go on one of our date nights and I was so exhausted I put on jeans, flats, barely any makeup, and had my hair in a bun. Then I remembered something he said to me once, “I love the outfits you wear to your events, maybe you can recreate one for date night.” I felt bad that I always dress up for events and wasn’t going to take the time to dress up for him. I mean, why wouldn’t I dress up for my husband? I LOVE dressing up. I spend hour(s) getting ready for events; why not make the same effort to get ready for the person who matters most?! So I started to take the time, put in the effort, and I know he appreciates it and quite honestly, I love it! Don’t get me wrong, I don’t dress up EVERY time, if we’re going to the movies, I’m not breaking out the stilettos, and if we decide to have a date night at home I dress way down. LOL I’m not saying YOU have to dress up every date night, but I will say your significant other will appreciate the effort! So, today’s outfit is date night inspired, in my favorite color! I wore this dress for a recent event I had at FWSD’s Spring Showcase for my hair product VIBRANCE and Rick loved it, so I knew I’d add this to my “date night” list! I incorporated rose gold, gold, and neutral tones to not distract from this gorgeous coral hue. This purse also has a chain to convert to a shoulder bag and she may look small, but she holds a lot! I added my trusty Knockout Ring from Love Tatum, a total showstopper, and my rose gold heels. The perfect date night outfit if you plan on going to dinner, a show, museum, your options are endless!
I hope you loved this date night look. I’d love to know your thoughts and if you have any date night looks you love to wear out! Xo Vanessa
