Well here we are, I’m currently 39 weeks pregnant and finally having some signs of possible pre-term labor! Not going to lie, it’s a crazy feeling! I felt my first set of Braxton Hicks contractions on Friday, which also happened to be my birthday. I thought for sure Josie would come then! haha Alas, she’s still hanging out being nice and cozy, however, I feel like it’s only a matter of days! Eeeek, getting so excited!
With that being said, she’s going to be here soon so of course I had to get our bags packed! I started with our hospital bags and finished up with Josie’s daily diaper bag. I was doing some research on diaper bags and found this gorgeous Fawn Design bag. What I loved most about it was 1) the design/color, 2) the versatility; it can be worn as a backpack, shoulder bag, or crossbody and 3) it’s not super girly, even Rick loved this bag and plans on wearing it! It’s very spacious and fit everything I’ll need for Josie plus more!
I’ve been trying to change up my look a little bit with these last few weeks, because wearing the same things over and over while pregnant is not fun. Finding styles that are inexpensive and can also be worn after baby are key. While I was on a
daily recent trip to Target I saw this fun maxi dress and knew right away it would be comfortable, fit over my bump and that I could still wear it after baby, talk about checking all the boxes! For reference, I am wearing a size medium oh and it also comes in black!
So the countdown is officially on and I cannot wait to keep sharing more fun details, experiences and baby finds with you about becoming a first time mom while also staying stylish at the same time! Because I believe it’s truly possible! If you have any questions, suggestions or post ideas, please send them my way, I love answering your questions and sharing with you! xxoo Vanessa
