It’s been 4 years since I’ve been wearing Cabi clothing, and I can’t get enough of it! When I first started wearing Cabi I loved how the clothing looked, of course, but I also loved how great the quality of the clothing was. I still have my very first piece of Cabi clothing, this black jumpsuit, and it’s held up amazingly well!
Over the past 4 years I’ve had the opportunity to wear tons of their clothes, attend their Fashion Scoop, which is a huge fashion show showcasing their upcoming collection, and also meet the whole team at their headquarters and get a behind the scene look into Cabi. But one thing I’ve never done was attend a Fashion Experience, where a Cabi stylist comes to your home and shows you the collection. Why did I wait so long!! Friends, wine and shopping, all within the comfort of your own home…hello tell me this isn’t the perfect combo!
Most of my girlfriends and I have kids so this was the perfect excuse to get together for a “moms night in.” My girlfriends and I all got together at my house and a Cabi stylist, Maria, came over to show us the latest Cabi collection. Maria set up the house to look like a boutique, clothing racks with the latest collection, shoes and jewelry displayed throughout the house and a mirror to try clothes on. What I loved most about the experience was being able to see the collection up close, feel the fabric and even try any/everything on!
Maria went through the collection one piece at a time while we followed along in our catalogs, sipping wine and marking off which pieces we liked so after the show we could refer to our books and the items we liked. There are a lot of items in the collection, but it goes by so fast and Maria also gave styling tips and tricks and talked about how you can mix and match pieces from each collection. After showing us the collection Maria gave us full range to go through the racks of clothes and we were trying everything on. It was fun to see who picked what and how they styled their items together.
Wearing the Eyelet Cover Up
It’s so crazy how different things look in a catalog compared to real life. It makes such a difference when deciding what to get. I had seen the entire collection online and in the catalog and there were pieces I glanced over because I didn’t think they were my style, but then seeing them in person and trying them on, I was sold. I think that’s what truly makes a Fashion Experience so special, that and of course sipping wine with friends on a school night 🙂 There was also no pressure to buy anything, although you know I did haha, and it was fun to help my friends pick out pieces to add to their collections as well. My cousin actually booked a party from my event and I attended hers as well, that’s how much fun we had! LOL Overall the experience was even better than I had imagined and I’m so happy with my new Cabi purchases!
