I first wore this color combo WAY back in 2013 (See photo below!) and it made me wonder why I don’t wear it more often because I love this bold color combo. It’s also perfect for the upcoming Valentine’s Day holiday 🙂
Sure, I’m a romantic and pink also happens to be my favorite color so of course I would naturally be drawn to it, but can you blame me? Look how good it looks against a fun pop of red. I actually have another outfit with this same colorway, take a look below (circa 2015).
Now for today’s outfit (2020). I picked this skirt up while I was on my honeymoon in Paris back in 2017 and fell in love with not only the color but the asymmetrical hemline. I added a few neutral colored accessories, which I tend to do with most of my outfits because nude goes with pretty much everything, and nude heels also makes your legs look longer!
I’m curious, are you a fan of Valentine’s Day? Do you like to go out, stay in, or even get together with your friends? My husband and I don’t usually celebrate, or we’ll just stay in and make dinner, which is a typical night for us. LOL But this year, we’re getting together with two of our couples friends and having dinner in a bubble. Yes you heard that right, a bubble. It’s called Dinner with a View and it looks very interesting! I’m really excited to try something different with our friends and have a romantic night out with my love!
So now, do I wear pink and red for our Valentine’s dinner or change it up, I guess we’ll have to wait and see until Friday!! 🙂 I hope you have a wonderful Valentine’s Day, no matter who/what you choose to do! ha
